And MAYBE a new (and very interesting) sustaining female character. Mex Anderson may have companionship in the next book or two.". Red Tide kept me guessing until the very end. This was a wonderful story with true characters intrigue and real-life emotions. The first book by Peg Brantley I read was The Sacrifice. Red Tide is just as riveting. My only and I do mean only complaint about this book is that the ending is too abrupt.
